SCCM offers numerous awards that recognize and honor the achievements of SCCM members while encouraging excellence in teaching and research. Nominate yourself or a colleague or recognize your entire ICU team.
SCCM appreciates your work during the COVID-19 pandemic and would like to recognize those on the front lines. Apply for these awards by August 1, 2021.
Barry A. Shapiro Memorial Award
An individual who has significantly contributed to the design and/or implementation of evidence-based practice.
Grenvik Family Award for Ethics
An individual who promotes humanistic and ethical care.
Drs. Vidyasagar and Nagamani Dharmapuri Award
An individual who has been outstanding in the care of infants and children.
Norma J. Shoemaker Award
A nurse who demonstrates excellence in clinical practice, education, and/or administration.
Joseph and Rae Brown Award
An individual who has significantly advanced multiprofessional quality care.
Safar Global Partner Award
An individual, hospital, or organization that expands the global reach of SCCM.
